Kevin Crye calls the police on his own constituents for exercising their 1st amendment rights

On May 2, 2025, Supervisor Kevin Crye confronted a group of protestors, a demonstration that had gathered peacefully in public space to protest the nomination of Clint Curtis for ROV. Before engaging with the crowd, Crye instructed his staff to call 9-1-1. When the law enforcement officers arrived, they informed Crye that the protestors were exercising their rights and, in fact, were not in violation of any laws. The scene unfolded with tension as police communicated to the demonstrators their legal right to assemble, while Crye attempted to persuade them to relocate. In a surprising twist, Crye claimed that he had not initiated the call for law enforcement assistance. Accompanying this narrative, there is a recording of the 911 call and a detailed report documenting the entire incident.

Action News Now - May 15, 2025 — Clint Curtis, the newly selected Registrar of Voters in Shasta County, registered as a Republican in Shasta County. However, in Titusville, Florida, Curtis is registered as a Democrat. In addition, records show that the address Curtis used to register to vote belongs to Patty Plumb, one of the three members of the now-suspended County Elections Commission.

Freedom of Speech Under Attack in Shasta County

On November 7, 2024, Jenny O'Connell-Nowain was arrested during a peaceful protest at a Shasta County Board of Supervisors meeting. During a recess, county counsel labeled the Nowains as targets. The media was pushed out. Journalist Doni Chamberlain was physically assaulted on camera by a sheriff's Deputy. Jenny was arrested in the dark. Two months later, another community member did the same thing at a meeting. Yet they were not arrested... there were no charges... no removal. Now, more than half a year later, Jenny is being charged for her participation in peaceful protest. We are sharing this video to keep the community informed. This is not about political sides. It is about whether we still value free speech and equal treatment under the law.

Clint Curtis’ saga of election conspiracy made into a book and documentary. Curtis has been known in election integrity circles since claiming that he developed a software to hack voting machines in 2000 at the request of the Florida state lawmaker Tom Feeney. He was reportedly interviewed by the FBI and spoke to Congress about his claims. Feeney, who Curtis ran against for a congressional seat, as well as his employer, denied those allegations and a House committee investigating the matter in the past concluded that the allegations lacked sufficient evidence to overturn election results. NOTHING EVER CAME OF CURTIS’ ALLEGATIONS.
